    This release brings a full client/server IPC layer, MIDI soundbank support, and a batch of stability and display fixes on top of the 0.1 pre-release.

    Added

    • Client/Server IPC architecture a running instance of cimp can now be controlled from another terminal or script. New remote commands:
      --play, --pause, --stop, --next, --prev, --volume <n>, --shuffle, --repeat, --repeat-1, --add <file>, --playlist, --soundbank <file>, --quit.
    • MIDI soundbank support load a custom soundbank with --soundbank <file>, supporting AD, OP2, OPL, SF2, SF3, SFO, TMB, and WOPL formats, both at launch and remotely.

    Changed

    • Reworked and restructured the IPC internals (connection handling, message framing) for reliability on all platforms.
    • Unicode-aware display now accounts for full-width character widths when rendering filenames.

    Fixed

    • Fixed filename display corruption on Windows.
    • Fixed the soundbank file path resolution when set via IPC.
    • Fixed repeat mode not being respected in all cases.
    • Reset terminal colors properly on exit.
    • Removed leftover debug output and stray test/unused files from the tree.
